i can't seem to find any 35-40mm counter rotating props, I think there are k40 CR's but nothing smaller, would the motors spin 40mm props without pushing the limits?

Tenshocks site claims to have counters down to 36mm.I think you have to e-mail them though

it says 1/16", i'm assuming that's a typo?

Yeah,I believe it is supposed to be 3/16.I wondered too as those guys run some small really fast boats over there at times.

any idea what props those motors will be willing to spin?

The aluminum venom props from the kos should work

I would think up to a 440 would be ok for sport.Though I haven't tried an outrunner yet. They are supposed to have more torque. In my books a 440 is a small prop but you never know, just check temps and try.I think there are counter rotating 37mm in Octura or ABC
It's ABC and they are 38mm 3 bladers.Octura has CR 430's then 442's.
Problem is with twins,it is double to keep "trying" props.

I killed off the idea of a twin drifter s because of prop availability. Venom props are just to expensive for what you get IMO.
Didn't want to put that kind of money into props that I didn't know would work, then have no use them for.
A ream will properly size the holes in a prop up to 3/16. Abut 15$ for a chucking ream from busybee.
BTW the Venoms are 40$ a pop from OSE, couldn't see spending 80$ on a pair of props.

i would never spend 80 bucks on props, I haven't checked my email yet but we'll see what tenshock said.
i feel like i would have selection from r2 hobbies, tenshock, and a few other places if I just went 4mm.

i already kinda decided on drives, i have one 078 wire and was just going to get one more, to make things simpler, they are 3/16 though.

could they not just say that?
maybe i'll just go with k40's to KISAC.
(keep it simple and cheap, my motto)
now i need to figure out what hardware will actually fit on the back, possibly dual struts?
