Hi prop gurus.

Cant seem to find much info on the ABC's that Steve sells. Tried the ABC 1.7" and 1.8" cleavers on my 31" v-hull thinking they looked cool (this was back in the days) but almost couldn't get on plane. It performed ok when it finally got up. I'm guessing those are high lift props for riggers and the likes?

Then there are the ABC H-series and S-series. Anything suitable for a v-hull with surface drive? I'm doing just fine with Octura's and TJM aluprops but it would be cool just to try something different once in a while

Hull 1 is an 31" Arrowana from r2 hobbies (with flattened hooks/lip). Running a 4082 1600 kv on 6s2p (total of 10000 mAh 25C). Prop of choice right now is a M545 or Prather 225. It's heavy with the 10000 mAh but once up to speed - it flies!

Hull 2 is orignally a 30" small gas catamaran from the 80's but now has twin KB 3674 2800kv on 3s2p (total of 9000 mAh 30C). Running counter rotating TJM 1218 40/3. It also flies!!

Hull 3, which is a new build, is an Octane 45 but instead of the 26cc it's getting a 5692 1320kv on 8s2p (tot. 10000 mAh 25c) and I'm gonna start with a X646/3 on that one, which probably is too small but I gotta start somewhere :cool2:

Edit: I should mention that I'm speaking in more general terms. Steve seems to sell 4 different versions (Chopper, cleaver, H & S) of ABC props and I dont know what kind of hulls they are suited for?

Generally an abc prop with the same specs as an octura prop will have very different results I always start a little smaller with my abc props then I would octura when testing a new setup
