Hey everybody, I have a quick radio question for ya.

I've been looking to buy another radio, and I ran across this one. I was wondering if anyone has any info on this radio for me ?. I know its a rebranded futaba 2.4 w/ a nice model memory. I don't know what futaba model it is, or what receivers will bind with it ?.

I was just wondering if someone can shed a lil' light on this radio for me, Thanks !!.

Here are the links to the radio and the receiver.

If you want a good little 2.4 3 channel radio and dont want to break the bank in doing so.

Check out the Fly Sky GT-3B radios at www.hobbypartz.com

I use these and have had great reliabilty with them. (the prices can't be beat.)

+2 on the GTB-3 I have one and it works great. Even around others using 2.4ghz and the big plus is the receivers are cheap 👍

Hey everybody, here we go again.......
I did find out this radio is a chinese Futaba 3PL from heng long. I wouldn't pay the $160 hobbyism wants for it though. Good thing I know where I can get one for $50 huh ? he he he he he.

As far as a stock gt3b from hobbypartz goes, they have faulty firmware. Without the hacked firmware their Junk. Apparently you missed the discussion huh ?. Check it out, he he he he he.

I did pick up a Tactic TTx-240 and a Spekky radio after this thread. I just laid my hands on a losi LST, so I am shopping around for a 3 channel radio. If I decide to get a GT3B, I'll get a hacked one from losiKid @ OverKill RC.

AM GOING TO HATE MYSELF, BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

YO BUICK, they are a great little radio and when they are FIRST introduced in the STATES, they DID have issues
but were taken care of VERY quickly.

Take notes if you can't keep up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have been using mine for the last full season and can attest to their reliabilty.

Thanks

p.s. one of the guys in my club runs them in BOTH his Eagle 7.5 rigger, his CMB 91 powered Eagle rigger and his Twin CMB 80 powered Eagle rigger and they are rock solid.

Heya carl, After my radio thread I picked up a Tactic TTX-240 w/ multiple receiver's, and a spekky radio for MR200 rx's. They both work without any issues.
I just picked up a Losi LST, so the 3 channel I get will be primarily a ground radio. If you haven't read the thread above check it out, even the grim racer himself popped in on it.

Stock FS-GT3B's have faulty firmware and suck because of it. The chinese never fixed the firmware issue cause people are dumb enough to buy faulty ones anyway. But.......... I may just buy another one. This time it'll be a hacked one from LosiKid @ OverKill RC, that way I can have an extra channel or two for my crawler.

BTW have you seen the new FS systems yet ?

As soon as RcCrawler is back up, I'll get better stuff on the new FS systems.
