Ive noticed a few threads on some having trouble progamming the SF 200 esc not sure what the problems are their having. Is their any advantage using the prog box over their prog card, is it worth the extra money with prog box over the card. Thanks Martin.

The box work a treat, not a good idea to use the computer though. If it works don't play with the firmware either.

No i wasnt going to use a computer at all, But wondered if theirs any disadvantage using the cheaper programe card rather than the dearer programe box. Is their anything the box will do re boat settings that the card wont.

I think i may go with the Seaking/Turnigy 180 esc as they seam more reliable + i have a prog box for the Seaking/Turnigy which i use on my 120amp esc. Just means modding the water inlet pipes to reduce the size of the esc so it fits .

I use the computer usb, and have changed/updated all the firmware on my swordfish 200 esc's (i have 4 of them) and haven't had any issues... Works like a charm IMHO... Not sure why people are scared of it :confused2:

diesel - swordfish had an issue with recent USB linkers, about 4 people bought them off OSE (including me) and the computer would not recognize the firmware, it was a PITA to sort out with OSE and (no offence Steven) but it's been 5 days with no reply from OSE trying to replace it with a t180.
