I am looking to upgrade my motors in my EKOS.
I am looking at the leopard motors 2845 and the 2860. I'm confused one is longer than other. Is the longer one better or is the shorter one made to go into tighter fits. I don't know which one to get. Need some help.
I plan on upgrading the esc to either 90a or 120a seaking and I want to run on 3s and 4s lipo's. 3s for puttering and 4s to get some good saw runs. I have other boats but do not know what combo to go with.

The longer ones have a bit more torque for swinging a bit bigger prop

So that is the only advantage of the longer can?

I have the Leopards 2845, 2850 & 2860 motors along with more torque theirs more power from each motor. The diff in the 3 motors i have is 2845 - 4420kv = max 800w at 58amp, 2850 - 4430kv = max 1000w at 75amp & 2860 - 3400kv = max 1300w at 80amp.
