going to try 6s1p in my delta force pirate with castle 1520 i have heard mixed reviews about the turnigy nano techs batteries. i just got some nanos 4s 35c 5000mah that i have been breaking in with the charger tomorrow i will put a load on them. any info will be great

i have 5S worth of zippies (2S + 3S) and they hold up, haven't cycled them tons but they seem to be able to push 120+ amps, they are 40C 4000mah, unless you are a racer, they are reasonable sport packs, don't overestimate them though

In terms of the middle of the road packs I've been having very good luck with Gens Ace. Not that I've had any problems with the various HK batteries I've tried but I've noticed that they usually are a little warmer at the end of a run than other brands. Not hot, just a bit warmer. And not puffed at all.
They must have a little higher internal resistance.
If they last at least half as long as my high end packs then I'll think they are worth it, any less and buying the high dollar packs is more economical. This will be the second season on my Gens Ace packs, the number of cycles is starting to get up there. If I get another full season of boating twice a week out of them I'll be more than happy.
