It depends on the sizeof the boat, and what you want me to paint on it. Some customers know exactly what they want, and have reference pics. Others know what colors and they may want skulls, a certain special character. and
some base their boat paint job simply by their budget. What hull do you have, and what are you wanting on it? Here are a few more examples.......6428764288642896429064291

Unfortunately I had a falling out w/ Bonzi and will not use them any longer. too bad though bc I really liked Dan. Glad to see he finally got that Skater done. I was waiting on that back in 06 and it kept being pushed back. You do awesome work. Certainly have a gift my friend. I enjoy painting myself but havent got into the trick airbrush techniques etc. I wish I could find someone local to teach me. if you go thru my albums, everything not stock paint Ive painted. My Hooters cat is the hull loaded w/ Bonzi stuff. If it wasnt for the $200. plus it cost for ther and back shipping, id have a hull for you to do in the near future. Shame your not closer. So if you vacation in Fl this winter..... :lol:

Just finished this FE up for sigelitest (Mike)here on the forum. The mascot character on the deck was done 100% freehand with my trusty Iwata airbrush. She'll get 3 good coats of clear to shine her up 1st thing in the morning, then be color sanded and buffed to a mirror finish before being shipped home to Alabama

Pro Painter is truly an Artist and great to deal with, I know because Clean Getaway is my boat :banana: I am going to be setting it up with twin electric so I will be needing some assistance from the guys here at OFE. But if anyone is loking for an awesome paint job that is truley one of a kind get with Steve!!!!! :buttrock:

Best thing you can do is send it to me so I can look at it on my shelf too. :lol: That is beautuful!!!!!! Please be careful during your build... I always follow the Build it, run it, dial it in, strip it paint it, put it back together rule. I just got done building a Rivercat for a member that was pre-painted and I was terrified. And it was just a geico green boat! Be sure to do a build thread. Im lookin forward to seein it done. good luck!

Ah Keith's 72" Mystic for the twin CC 2028 setup. Just hope electronics will keep cooler than what the paint job shows (smoke on the water...) But very well done!

Yes, hopefully the inside never looks like the outside!
I don't think I will be doing a lot of speed chasing in this boat. I will have too much money, time, ect. invested to make it a high-risk endeavor. I think I will run it at a fairly comfortable speed/current draw and be happy. Hopefully that will prevent any fire/nuclear explosions from occuring on the inside!

This paint is not up to the high standards in this forum. Pretty simple stuff. But, I really like how it turned out. Lots of punch graphically.

I purchased this Dumas HotShot Sprint from a fellow club member in the Indianapolis Admirals RC Boat Club. He did a great job building it and setting it up to run. I just wanted to make it my own from a color scheme standpoint. It's fast with the 1500KV motor, but not outta control.

Steve paints full size boats for Outerlimits now. Unfortunately, he doesn't paint RC boats anymore.
