Hey Todd, I've tried the 4074 Keda as well as the leopards, the Keda is great in my opinion, got it here from OSE. Havent tried a TP yet.

May as well throw these clones in the mix too and see if they have been tried out, 4 poles too.

This one is only $44 when i log in - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17697__XK4074_2000KV_Brushless_Inrunner.html

and a 4082 - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17698__XK4082_1500KV_Brushless_Inrunner.html

I have the one in the second link you posted in my Spartan that I built from a bare hull. Haven't had a chance to run it on 6S but on 4S with a 200A "Birdie" Suppo ESC it ran great and both items were cool, as if never ran. Ran it with an 48mm carbon prop but just ordered an X450 for 4S fun.

I'm sure 6S will be much fun with an X445.

I will be using these in my twin Geico build http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=17717

I've bben running the turnigy 4074 on 6s for a short while now.It started in my 32 mono and is now on my 35 tunnel. it has worked great. tons of power and no heat issues. So far the bearings have held up perfectly. A super motor for the price.

I have all 3, the turnigy, leopard and TP motors all in 4082 size. Unfortunately not all the same KV, the leopard and turnigy are 1600's and the TP is the 1160, but I can achieve close to the same rpms with the pack numbers I have, just not 2p on the TP like the others. I will back to back them in my genesis in the coming weeks and let you all know how they go for speed vs run time vs temps.

As always, you get the 5692 offered for less if you're not logged in and stay on the page a while. They look to be great motors, if anything like the 40 series motors.
