What all would I have to change and buy to run a motor like this?
IE: Batts, ESC etc.
My Motley Crew is all stock on 2s 5300mah
Is it a good motor to run in this boat?
Model RPM/V No-load Current (7.4V) Max. Amps Max volt (V) Power (W)
SKF-4074/2D 3513 6.0A 169A 17 2900

The rpm is very high for 4s.
You could try to run it on (2) 2s packs running in parallel with a m447 prop.

Thanks for the info, I do have a few more questions for ya:
Would I see a big difference in power over the stock motor? Do you think it would be worth all the money to get it all set-up?
And if i did run that motor, I would need to buy a 180 or a 200amp ESC and the m447 prop? (to more or less get it running, right? (cause I already have the 2s batts)
Sorry about all the questions but in new at the electric boat thing, and I can never leave my crap "stock" for to long.
Thanks

No, it's a bad idea for that boat. As Steve said, the Kv is too high - and the motor size is bigger too. The stock motor has a Kv of ~1800, so increasing that to 2000 or 2200 would make a decent speed increase. But you'd need a better ESC since the new motor would draw a lot more amps - 120 amps minimum but 180 is better. I'd look at smaller diameter props like the m545 and m645.
It may be easier to fit a 3674 in the MC hull versus the bigger 4074, I'm not certain. There have been several MC builds with hotter motors, do a search for them.
