What is a good prop to start with with 4S lipos and Ammo 2300 ? :help:
I am still using the standard ESC so amps must be under 40.

Graham must have a new project on the go

What size 4S Lipo ?

With the fact the ammo has such high KV i dont think you will find a prop that will bite and keep the amps under 40 ( it would have to be small )

I would try a X637 or X440 2 blade props they would be a good starting point.

those were the same props I was going to suggest, maybe up to a 640 since the 637 might be a bit small in diameter. Several local guys are having good luck with those props.

the x437/3 was a bit too much prop for that motor/hull for me...GPS'ed at 53.7 and wildly unstable at WOT.
I'd say the 2-blade 37mm and 40mm props may be the ticket, but I dunno about keeping the amps down. I did run the stock ESC, but only for very short runs, and the system heated up quite a bit. check temps often!

How's the Triton running? I just had my first-born, so i still haven't gotten "Big Johnson" wet. haven't run any boats yet actually...I'm jonesin' bigtime.

Hi Corey
Thanks for the info.
The Triton is finished and waiting patiently for me to find the time to test it.
Work has been getting in the way of more important things of late, don't you hate it when that happens.
Hope to give her a run this weekend.
Cheers
Graham.
