looking to get props for a twin cat with t600's
currently i'm thinking CR x442 or x447's, 445's don't have a reverse.
i was also thinking CR 3720/5's or 4019/5's from propshop.
can anyone who's run these motors tell me what a good prop for them is?
they're going on a 41' fantasm from FC, the motors are the 6S ones, perhaps 7S for SAW.

450 3 bladers would be pretty sweet!

(assuming they are the 1400kv'ers)

what KV and what voltage are you looking to run them on.

if they are from FC, what number motor are they?

they are the T600's from hobbyking, 1400kv.
can they actually spin a 450/3 each? i thought that was wayyy to much prop, maybe i'll have to do 4518/5's as a scale look, and for fun running, if they don't cavitate like crazy.
maybe i'll get 450/3's and 452's for SAW on 7S

They will spin the 450/3's espeacially in a twin cat. I have used 50mm props in single setups with that motor on 6s.

I hope you take the time to setup your esc's properly before running them. O/R's like higher timing and Frequency. Are you reading the threads in Fightercat forums to learn what works best? There is lots of info there, specially if you plan on getting one of his hulls.

As Mark stated, you should try to stay within skill level unless you have a more experienced FE boater to help you out.

i have you guys, don't i? (i will be asking tons of questions)
no idea who makes a 452R, i just suggested that as a good size.
he told me 8 khz and anywhere between 10-15* timing, for 7S i might have to step it up closer to 20.
jacked- how much cooling did you have?

a 5517/3 on a t600? I heard these guys were torque monsters but that's getting close to what a 2028 can spin! (and for 60 bucks too)
i want 5 bladers for scale so i might have to go to propshop.

That vid was with those props, from propshop i believe but i think he mainly uses cheap plastic 54 mm props lol.Im sure he can tell you more than i can about those motors as mine are still in the box as im too busy to get em fitted into the hull grrrr lol.I do know hes since switched motors to the himodel ones but only because he had a slight problem with one and couldnt get a replacement at the time.Think one battery came loose and hit the motor damaging it.Yours been a cat id think the motors would spin those props even easier than on a mono.

I guess i'll have to buy a bunch of CR carbon props and get metal 5 bladers once i get the good size.
