I caught a lucky break in the weather today. Some wind of course because I had the chance to run. I am happy to report that a winning combination has been found for the BlackJack. Seem the SpeedMaster strut along with an offset Aquacraft rudder works well. Turning to the right is smooth and predictable. To the left takes a little more care but is stable also. She tracks straight and the oscillations are gone. On 14 cells she got 31mph and on 16 33.1. Temps where low. More pitch and diameter can be handled easy the 45mm was a mild setup to say the least. Add lipos and I bet 40 is possible. I think the opening for the steering linkage can be enlarged just a tiny bit to free up rudder movement. But the high torque servo is more than up to the task. I think she is right @ home with 35. She is fun, fast and attractive if I may say. After 3 months I can finaly say..BUILD COMPLETE:D .

33.1 mph? she looks alot faster than that....love the conservative speed measurements......almost seems like you're sandbaggin' for a shmuck to race? nice looking, fast and great handling....... you found a winning combo.

Not ready to say yet. I am waitin to get it in the house and start the thread...Top Secret..:D
BTW I got out to test the Bj again today. I tossed 2-6cell IB4200spks in it for kicks with the 48MM prop. 32.1 on 12. But I got some water on my S-BEC and had to wrap it up before I could get 14 or 16 cells in it. I wound up pulling the bec, receiver and air cooling. I won't be runnin it any more.

For future reference. I take 3 advil and drink a halfa gallon of water right before I pass out. I rarely have a problem. FYI Doctors advise against the advil. Feel better man:).
