Hi Apples

I'm in Melbourne, l have both a Super Vee and BlackJack + Mini Mogli. I have the perfect lake in for us FE i.e. away from the Nitro's etc. PM me if you are interested as l was planning to setup a club myself but havn't really found anyone local that is into FE. FE havn't appeared to take off here in Melbourne. Having a club like this would be an excellent way to exchange ideas and generally have fun. I not much into actual races but are willing to give it a shot.

Ni Go for the Todd Road lake (next to the West Gate Bridge (http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Todd+Rd,+Port+Melbourne+VIC+3207,+Australia&sll=-25.335448,135.745076&sspn=70.353227,164.53125&ie=UTF8&oi=georefine&ct=clnk&cd=2&geocode=0,-37.831353,144.911741))
This sand surrounding the lake is quick sand, one step in that and you will be up to your knees in seconds. The water is very dirty, in fact it looks like it would glow in the dark !! It has this radiation look to it,. I went to lake three weeks ago with the idea of using it for my boats, l had to turn around and go home.

Oi!!!

Any Melburnians out there who want to meet up for some FE or nitro running? I am not into racing yet as I've not much experience in this hobby but I am into the socialising side of it. I am in Mt Waverley but I am willing to drive across the Westgate if I have to. I currently have an Aquacraft Lucas Oil FE Brushless. I mostly run it at Rowville Lakes, Aura Vale Lake or Lysterfield Lake. I will check this thread everyday if I can for the next few weeks/months.

Just for laughs, I am also an active member of CandlePowerForums which is a forum for torch/flashlight fanatics. There is a Dec2014/Jan2015 meetup planned if anyone is interested to see some truly powerful torches aka flashlights.
