Can anybody that has used a leopard 3674 2200kv motor on 4 cell lipo tell me what they found to be the amp draw? I would like to put one of these motors in a Miss Geico
when they finally get back in stock. Has anybody done this yet? I understand that there are a lot of variables with props etc. but just looking for the ball park figure to put the right
speed control for this boat. Thanks for your help guys.

Propped correctly that motor will pull in the 80-100a range. You can run it with a T120 or SF120 if you like............some folks are going to the T180 for the ectra room.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to sound to new at this but what kind of ESC is the T180 (is it a turnigy?) Right now what I am running is a rigger insanity with the UL1 set up and ESC (60amp) 5000 4 cell lipo's. So I am not really familiar with anything else, just what I have been reading on the threads. I don't know what to buy that is a good ESC with out spending a lot of cash. I have read a lot of the seaking and turnigy ESC's that seem to go bad right away if they work at all. I also believe that I would have to run bullet connectors (8mm?) instead of the dean's because they can only go up to 60amps? All the info I can get will help and I really appreciate the feed back from you experienced guys. Thanks, Bob Jr.

No, bad info on the turnigy/ seakings. At 49 bucks a pop, the t120 is by far the best valuebout there. I must have 6-8 of them and they are darn near bulletproof even on 6s. Check hobbyking for the in stock amount, only 49 bucks!!!

I'm running my 3674 at over 100amps. i would recommend a seaking 180.

In these decisions, it comes down to personal preference. I ran a 4074 2200kv for 6 months with a Turnigy 120a. I wanted the 120 for another boat so i bought a 180 for more room, especially if i wanted to prop up a bit more. My point is, the Turnigy Esc is a great one at a super price, go with a 180 if you are more comfortable that way. If you run an x440-x442 which is the best range for that motor on 4s, then the t120 will work based on personal experience and zero problems doing it.

Nothing wrong with the swordy 200s. Smaller then the 180's! I like them a lot, just make sure you waterproof the esc... I was running a abusing a seaking 120 with a 4074 1774 and a lot of prop lol... Finally I pushed to hard and killed her, but darn she took a beating. The seakings are amazing esc's and the hifei aren't bad themselves.

It depends on how hard someone pushes a motor with props. A x440 and x442 isnt really pushing anything hard these days in that size range. Its really a test prop to see where you can go from there.
