I just purchased it a couple weeks ago. Ran it for the first time, last weekend at my flying club float fly!
It ran great with no problems! I used the pro boat 7.2 V 5100mAh NIMH battery pack. I guess the speed was around 25 - 27 mph. I had the only boat there at the event.
I ran it 4 times Sat. and 5 times Sun. and no esc problems, it came with the SS metal prop and no broken blade problems!
The elec flyers kept coming by and asking questions about it!
Hoping to get some of the members interested into rc boats!:banana:
I have seen alot of BASHING on this boat on this site:sad: Does anybody have any good things to say about this boat?:rofl:
I realize this is a toy boat compared to some of the boats on this site But people have to start small and work their way up. Just like rc aircraft you don't start with a P-51, you start with a high wing trainer.
See attached pics, the third pic is a De Havilland DCH-3 Otter the largest plane there that weekend.
