Cooling question

All my boats have had the esc cooled then the motor, my new one has the motor cooled then the esc. What is correct?:help:

The most critical component to cool is the ESC. The cooler the water entering a component is the better it cools, so the default is to cool the ESC then the motor. Seperate water lines for each is really a waste of time since so little heat is removed from the typical ESC by the water its effect on motor cooling is transparent.
