Well it was a great event and you couldn't have asked for better weather. This was the first time they used such a large lake and there is plenty of room for us. There where about 3 of us with FE's and 40 other very nice models with tons of work invested. If you ever looking for something to do in St. Louis next year this would be the venue I would attend. There was even a navigation run that was quite fun and challenging especially for a low turn radius which a lot of us have. I plan on putting together a high speed navigation track as well for next year. Anybody can hold a trigger down but can you put your boat where you want it every time :). Anyways here is a few pics, enjoy....

The Stl Thunderboaters always enjoyed your regattas when you held them at January Walbash Park and Union Station. We always had loads of fun with you guys. Have you tried to get permission for a permanent lake site at Forrest Park.

It's not "my" regatta lol. The manager of the boat house sounded like it was a great time and the crowd really liked it. I'd say it will be a standard meeting place if things go as well as last year. Now that might change with a lot of FE's around the paddle boats :). But it is a huge area and closing off some of the water will be needed if a lot of FE's show up. Which might upset someone.
