Someone made me a deal on a "water damaged" MM that I couldn't refuse. I've seen some purchased early on in the sale that were really nice, but I'm of the opinion that the "good ones" went first. This one is pretty bad, but no worse than some crash-damaged raceboats I've brought back to life. I also read here that the new bare hulls sold separately are pretty solid. Mine's rather flimsy but a little toughening up and I think rigging it up as a P-Ltd Offshore won't tax it too badly and should make a nice spec rig. Sealing up the scoop holes was easy : some Bondo self adhesive body patch formed to fit the opening, some fiberglass tape, and some epoxy goo to seal the tape and a cool (from the outside) looking solution results.
