Hey all,
I am very excited to receive my new HPR C5008 Cat hull from Hanspeter. I also purchased all the HPR hardware for it. This will be my first FE Cat build, and am both excited and overwhelmed at the build ahead. I have spent a lot of time looking at other builds, and have a pretty good idea what direction I want to go. I know this will not be a cheap build, but I really want a first class build when I am done.
I have not yet decided on my electronics, but am looking for speeds in the 60-70 range, nothing crazy. I want to have a boat that looks as good on display as it does on the water. I plan on adding small details like I have seen on some of the larger hulls.
Anyone have suggestions for purchasing CF material in 2mm or 3mm thickness?
