I, still a newbie:)
But I was thinking about the cooling system, is that with large tubing and outlet or can I buy that and get a cooler boat.
The outlet of the boat, is it that on the left side and is it just to unscrew and switch?
Can I get a bigger pickuphole in the rudder and how do I do that?
I will run 5a lipo and don´t want a hot motor and esc.
Is it hard to balance a propeller and what tools do I need? Or can I get a balanced that is just ready to bolt on and what propeller do you recommend?
And what kind of lvc can you recommend, one that is easy to program to 4cell lipo
When you moved your batteries forward, did you just cut the wood with a dremel?
Thats all I can think of right now.
Thanks boys and girls, sorry for all the dumb questions but if you don´t ask you will never know the answers:tongue_smilie: .

Here's is what I have found. I found "spurs" in the stock cooling system at the speed control. took some wire pushed it through and worked much better. Blow through the end at the rudder at first I could not do this now after running water blows out. You need some restriction to keep the water from just passing without cooling anything. Prop balancing there is quite alot of information out there on this here's is what I do. sharpen the side toward the boat only! some say the front some say the rear anyway it's the side nearest the boat. I keep the finish on this side dull and polish the other side. I use a dremel buffing pad to dull the sharpened side of the prop. I use a magnetic prop balancer this works great. I also just popped the front battery stop out instead of cutting. Wiggle with a pair of pliars and it just pops out. Also scuff the entire bottom of the hull. Boat faster with a dull hull don't wax. Long story short all the bubbles from a scuffed hull makes it glide on the water. I also added a turn fin on the other side makes turns both directions without "hooking" also added adjustable trim tabs from OSE makes tuning alot easer. I run 6 and 7 cell haven't went lipo I figure I have had "blow overs" with this set up plenty fast for me stock. Anyway being another rookie thats what I have found so far.

Hi, thanks for your help
I am not at all sure about the prop balancing but you shed some light on me:)
The 5a truerc lipo should work right? 50acont and 75 burst

Feffe,

Here is some good prop info:

As for the balancer they use in the article, a magnetic is more precise;

Hope that helps.
