Tower and my LHS have both indicated "early Sept" as availability. Any updates on when this will be on shelves and or shipping to retailers?

Very interested.

Thanks,

Hankinator

Just saw on Towerhobbies....JANUARY!

Doh. Guess I will spend my dollars on something else. Gotta get some playing in before the water freezes.

Later,

I guess you just got lucky......saved yourself some future money. Mine came with a roll of hatch tape and an extra prop.

The coupler and driveline in this boat look way better than the mini rio, so hopefully they won't drop driveshafts as often.

I didn't get any tape or prop so I guess we were both lucky. My friend has.a music store and he said that wire won't break unless it breaks at the drive end. Have you seen or tried any different props yet?

Ran the boat tonight..ran like a champ..only problem was that with the 1000mah 25 c battery from tower hobby. the battery only lasted for only 1.5-2 minutes ...good thing i have more batteries coming from hobby king....my son and i loved the boat..make sure u have lots of batteries on hand if u want to run the boat for any extended period of time......

25C tower pack?.. seems to me thats a 12C pack. I really dont recomend that pack for the boat.. you are much better off with the XPD8 pack.

Keep us posted on your runs!.. and HAVE FUN!
