Ok, so I'm obsessed with the water. but unfortunately like most of us I have to earn a living. A large part of it is sitting at the pc. So I'm looking to enhance my pc desktop. Do any of you guys have suggestions for high quality offshore boats running at speeds for use as a background? I'll start first, here's a awesome hydro I found or someone emailed me. It is a bit small and has to be stretched to fit the entire background, but its still hot!

Here is a link to some photos from the Australian Powerboat Series, lots of photos of the Maritimo cat amongst others. The photos aren't overly high res but you shouldn't lose too much clarity blowing them up to a desktop size.

good ones so far.

on a side note for some reason this morning, I went back are reread my post. it was littered with bad grammar. Especially the word "use" instead of "us". It must have read like Joe Pesci's character in the movie "My Cousin Vinny". lol

I loved watching these fly over 180mph on the water with around a 50ft high tail behind them that followed for 200 plus ft. Its awsome whisper quiet a i heard they are going back to the old combustion engine to draw the crowds back. Im not sure when i heard it from National Geographic channel. One of there shows forgot the name it might have been one of the "Need for Speed" ones ya that sounds right. Nice pic's one of our members has some awsome pic's of hydroplanes.
