I have an order from hobbyking and the tracking says it has been in Singapore since the 13th and Hobbyking says it shipped on the 8th. I don't think it should take 21+ days for a package to leave the country. And it has never taken this long to get a package from them. Has anyome had this type of thing happen before?

Everytime I contact them they say to wait for it.

some of the new shipping services say the package may take up to 45 days, did you pick the cheapest option?

ALWAYS use EMS express when getting stuff from hobby king. If you picked the cheap option, well, best of luck. You should have it by the end of the year, lol.

We have always gotten our orders from them and sometimes it takes quite some time, ie "slow boat from China" not a pun !

I'm peaved at the moment with them as I bought some lipo's that are in stock 9 day's ago,I've got orders in the past in 4 days, this order still say reserved, not even packed yet let alone shipped. I emailed support and asked if they'll refund the $57 international express and she replied with "sorry for the inconvenience, it'll be ship within the next business day", that was last Thursday and they still haven't shipped it. Damn shame there so cheap, I hate giving them my money.:cursing:

I've been using hobbypartz lately for cheap stuff, to Canada at least the stuff usually ends up costing me less due to cheaper shipping. USPS all the way with them.

Ya I was going to order some lipos and charger from them till I saw the shipping...yikes 75.00..I think not. I got basically the same stuff from hobbypartz for 12.00 shipping.Im doubting i would ever order anything from hobbyking again after seeing that.....:ThumbsDown01:

Unfortunately hobbypartz does not sell much boat hardware, may have to spend the extra cash and buy from OSE. but the OSE shipping is 91$, ouch

That comment makes no sense what so ever! What the hell are you comparing to what?

$91 shipping?

I know I bite my thumb when I pay the $9 shipping for a few small items. Its the cost of convenience- plus my LHS doesnt stock crap and never special orders crap either.

$91 seems off, you must be using UPS then? UPS is mega expensive for Canada stuff.

It's the only option and says it is required for orders over 200$, or I guess 291$ in this case.

Are you sure ??? I thought that shipping from HobbyKing was calculated by weight?

You also need to make sure you try and order from the USA warehouse. I've received batteries in as little as 4 days from them. China is 3-4 weeks.

Or better yet order from US companies

What is this????
You guys acctually have some kind of expectations from HobbyKing???
Ha, ha, ha.....
HALLOOOO!!!!! We are talking about ONE WAY STREET here....
One package will get to the receiver within 2 weeks another will get there NEVER....
...ok, so what can you do if not here yet???? Go there and ask for manager....:tape:
We all should know by now they suck if you on the list of not too lucky buyers ( sometimes called - customers, sometimes called PLATINUM - customers )
End of the story....
It is your choice. Get it from here with customer support and gold quality service or get lost!!!
Been there, done that!!!

A lot of people suggest paying with paypal only for international Hobbyking orders, because then in a case like this you can open a claim through paypal if it hasn't been too long and actually get some results from hobbyking customer service sometimes. Or at the very least, you can usually get your money back without as much hassle.

Boaterguy, I just made up an order with a 250$ neu motor, no 91$ shipping, a boathull which is oversize costs about 100 and change to ship though. I don't know what you're ordering but something isn't adding up.
