What are you doing to keep the water out?

it really dont get much water in it, but i have not flipped it yet. is it suppose to be completly sealed off? im new at the game! i live in nebraska...i think im the only rc boat here! it runs really good. i just got my new maxamps 14.8 9000 mah batteries.

Others have said that "its a boat and water gets in" but in my experience with electric boats water in the boat is no good. You can make sure that you coat the esc and other electronics in water resistant coating but I would still seal the boat water tight just in case. The other problem I found is that the FE boats are pretty heavy and if the hatch comes off and water gets in the boat may sink....even with flotation installed. Post some pics of the inside of the hull, it may be easy to make a tapable sub hatch.
