I have an SF240hv and want to add the big Etti HV bank......can i use them even though they are different ratings than the six stock caps? The stock caps are 50v 470uf and the Etti caps are 63v 1000uf. Thanks!

the uF ratings will be fine, I don't know about voltage but I think it is a maximum rating so as long as you don't exceed 50V it may be okay.

He shouldnt use caps with a lesser voltage rating.

So adding the higher capacity 63v to the stock 50v isnt a wise thing? Thanks

You want to add higher voltage caps. It is done all the time with the T180's to handle larger spikes. Here's a good thread explaining it.

Unless I'm mis-reading something your adding the Etti cap bank to your stock cap bank and if the ratings that you posted are correct for your stock cap bank your good to go!
