I went out to run my MC today. I soon discovered the motor was acting up kinda chattering. Anyway it turned out to be either a
cold solder joint on the red Motor wire/ plug or it got hot and de-soldered, which I doubt this happened. Anyone heard of this
happening a basically a new boat. I re-soldered it correctly and now it works. A bit frustrating as the only tool I didn't take with me was a soldering guns.

Pretty common with most RTR's.

Always a good idea to go over all solder joints.

if you pay a chinaman a bowl of rice a day to build your boats, he will have spent his previous life in a paddyfield and wont be experienced at soldering or carpentry, poor build quality is the price we pay for cheap chinese products, as Doby said go over your solder joints and also have a tug on your motor and servo mounts to check there glued in well, and loctite and retighten all the nuts/bolts on the hardware.

Yep that happened to me also. Re soldered all the motor leads and all is well.
