The dual pick up rudder is nice as a bolt on upgrade.

The splash guard is a neat concept as well.

And they look sporty!

But isn't this a lot like polishing a t**d? :tape:

Not only do these splash guards work great, but they add a sporty look to the back of your boat as well.

Heck I'd use that on some other boats too. It's hard to find a dual pickup that size.
They need to offer stand offs too.
Splash guard is nifty. Since the over hang on the canopies can let water in.

$50 is a bit nuts tho

I have those instock. $50 is expensive for a blade. But in the small quantities that they are made in, the labor cost is high.

That rudder may be made i'n china , but it actually is really well made....http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j363/rcforever27/7d440b6a.jpghttp://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j363/rcforever27/1f5d4f18.jpgAgreed on the rudder being alittle pricey but who else makes a durect fit dual pickup rudder with no mods??? Nobody i kno lol

I kno i duno who thought it was made i'n china.... I don't care it seems very good quality and works like a charm.... I'd rather spend 50$ on a rudder than 300$ on a new esc when it overheats due to one pickup.... Lol

ST-5740RA Blue Anodized Traxxas Spartan Dual Water Pickup Rudder Blade

Finally there is an effective way to add a second water pickup to your Traxxas Spartan. Now you can run separate water lines to both the ESC and motor, resulting in better cooling.
*!**
There are a lot of different ways to add a second water pickup to your boat, but all of them will add drag. That’s why we decided to develop our dual water pickup rudder blade. Our dual water pickup rudder is a direct replacement for the stock rudder, so we are not adding any extra parts to slow down your boat and reduce performance.
*!**
We carefully engineered this rudder to maximize its water pickup and cooling ability without effecting the handling and performance of your Spartan. Installation is fast and easy, requiring zero modification to your existing setup. All you need to do is replace the stock rudder blade with your new dual water pickup rudder using all your existing hardware and add your second water line.

I agree, it's top notch quality. Besides the extra pickup and the better design intake holes it looks stock, even the blue anodizing is spot on color matched.
