So far I did some testing with Li-Ion batteries and Li-Poly batteries.

Lastest one with 1500mah LiPoly pack.

1. How many amps can the stock ESC/RX take?
2. Anyone try another prop?

Yes they are stock, I have not tried the 400 motor yet. The Lipoly batteries are much better. We have enjoyed them, gave one to my brother and he and another friend have 4 of them now and race.

Okay, I just bring them in when they slow down, never had a problem but your probably right.
