Dig deep in your old, now unneeded prop stock for these. Looking for one each to try in our Electrified x 4 build project. Once I figure out the best prop I will need 3 more.

Thanks, chris

There is no such thing as an Octura X627 or a X635. That series only goes down to 632 and then jumps up to 637. You might be able to find someone that might have modified them down to those diameters but if you are seeking a moderate lift/ high pitch prop the options jump to the 14xx series.

Now for a shameless post for your wants, I do have a small selection of small props for sale. I have one x430, one 1.25, three x632 and two p735 props. All sharpened and balanced except for the 1.25 and I will even throw in a tiny little guy. I think its an octura and about 20mm diameter. But with out marks (due to its hub size) I have no clue. $80 shipped for all of them.

Chris,

Have you decided on a motor for the Electrifieds? If it a stock 27t motor, you will need props sizes around 32mm. I have some plastic props that I would cheap. I have an x431 and a y531. It will cost you shipping.

I will be asking soon for confirmation of my motor choice. Currently have 15T brushed and ran well with x432 and x435, just got a bit warm after 10 minutes of running. Would like to go faster and others experience tell me that x632 is better than x442. with all the info from this site and how my current one runs I can hopefully finally make another proposal and see what the guys here think.

Thanks for the offer.

You may want to try a 19t like a chameleon. I ran one in mine years ago with great results. It will also be more robust than a 15t. We ran a Spec class some years back. Any 19t was allowed.

Really would like to go with a brushless if possible.

OK. I did a little checking on my favorite On line hobby source in Hong Kong. You can get a 540 brushless motor for about $30. I would suggest a 540 13.5T motor. It has a KV of over 3000. It should be very fast on the Electrified. A stock brushed motor has a KV of around 4000, but then you have all of the maintence. It also will not perform as well as the brushless motor and have as much torque.

Jay, I have a real hard time searching for stuff on that website. Just too many choices.

I found this one but it says it is sensored but some comments say it will run sensorless. 2900 RPM Also only 205W so only 18 amps on 3s so I think it is a bit weaker than the one I am using now. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8861

Here is another but again sensored. Can I run a sensored motor w/o the sensor? 2600kv, 500 w http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__16021__HobbyKing_X_Car_13_5_Turn_Sensored_Brushl ess_Motor.html

I do not think I found the over 3000kv one. Can you point me at it?

thanks

Chris,

I will look for you and send a link to the motor I found. I agree. It's a pain looking through so many motors to find out what you want. I believe that you can do a search to find what you want.

Chris,

I have looked at both the sensored and sensorless motors. I think that a sensorless motor is a better way to go. I have been running them for years.

I basically run a similar motor in my 2S Sport Hydro. The Electrified will really be fast with an x435, but you can always prop it down to a x430 or even a x427.
Here is the link: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__6669__KD36_50_08S_4400kv_Brushless_Inrunner.html

Then get a 70 amp boat ESC.
