Source for tools? (7mm & 8mm open end wrenches)

Seems like they could have included the little cheap stamped steel ones like they show in the manual pictures for next to nothing but what I'm finding is more heavy duty and $$$.

Does the 7mm wrench also work for most of the aftermarket flex shafts/drive dogs/etc?

For my Octura.150 flex couplers I have a set of Sears Craftsman standard ignition wrenchs. They come in a pouch of 8. They are also handy for trim tab and strut adjustments if your hardware is standard. Once you get into the 3/16 sized flex couplers, you are going to need larger sized wrenches.

I also love the allen drivers made for RC cars and helos. I bought a set of standards and metrics for my son and steal them out of his tool box all the time.

Yeah I have a regular Black & Decker tool set with lots of ignition style wrenches and sockets in metric and standard. I also have various hex drivers etc. for my other RC aircraft and vehicles.

Specifically I'm looking at "lubricating the flex shaft" on page 8 of the manual http://www.proboatmodels.com/ProdInf...ser_Manual.pdf where you need a THIN 8mm open end wrench to remove the brass ferrule from the lower end of the motor. When they say THIN they mean it lol because it is too narrow for a regular wrench.

That tiny wrench the guy in the picture has looks perfect and surely would have only cost pennies to include for what seems like the most mandatory and frequent maintenance on this boat. My LHS stocks TONS of tools and they have nothing for this :-(

THEN we need a 7mm wrench or nut driver (could they not have just used an 8mm again???) just to hold the nuts on one side of the mount to use a hex on the other side to adjust the up/down trim. ( page 7 http://www.proboatmodels.com/ProdInf...ser_Manual.pdf )

Lastly the nut holding the prop on goes to standard instead of metric??? It is somewhere between 9 and 10mm and closest thing I can find is 3/8 which still has a little play in it. Is this correct?

Anyhow, so now that I'm done whining I am curious as to what others are using?
