What wattage output does the 1518,1520,1717 Castle motors have?

No one can tell you, that depends on the load and the voltage. Electric motors will keep producing watts until they burn up, you load them and they will keep producing power. Castle says a maximum of 25 volts input and 120 amps, so that is about 2550 watts as the recommended output for all three motors - for car use.

Kinda like Fluid said, Castle states 120 amps at 25.2Volts
so upto 3024 watts, but they can produce more like Fluid said...

Castle lists the motors MAX wattage rating for those motors. http://www.castlecreations.com/products/neu-castle_motors.html But you have to half that to get the continous rating assuming they are as efficient as NEU motors. Which they are not, BUT they are certainly closer to NEU's motor ratings then anyother manufacturer out there. The rest are far below no matter what anyone states. Even Neu doesnt state they have a 90% eff motor rating, yet many of their motors do indeed test past that level. But the cheapos have no problem making such claims using far inferior components.

That is all that the 'sainted' Leopard site does, except you said you wanted the output watts. For that you have to factor in motor efficiency, which I did for you in the post above.

well said. All the leopard numbers do is muddy up the waters. the only real way to match them would be if you had them all and tested them all using the same parameters.
