Connect the red wire of each battery to the red on the esc. Same goes for black wires. You need to make some connectors

Go to OSE home page, Than to RC boat links, Than at top of page is Tips & INFO , look in batteries tips & info.
Than go to Q & A SEARCH FOR 5.5 Y connectors or Y deans connectors,
Go and do search in charger & battery info.

Won't doing so destroy the stock electronics? Today I ran two 3S on stock setup and it thermalled after about 3-4 min

Look at my post info.
You want to go up 5.5, Can you solder to make 5.5 y ?
Cells 30c or 40c IMP.

You need to run cells in parallel not series or:flammes-09::flammes-09::flashfire::doh:

Yes.
Good lipos, Gens ace or Turnigy 30c to 40c, 3000mah and up, I use soft packs 4s 40c to 50c 5000mah

Deans can take 60amp cont. I think, where as Bullet connectors can take much more amps
this is what I did to run deans on my SV27 boat running parallel packs
I soldered the back leads of the connector and placed this on one side of the stock series wiring on the esc

and these are my parallel connectors for bullet packs

brushless 55,
looks good
is it needed 2 run bullets because everything else i have is set up with deans 5 battery packs, 2 chargers, 4 trucks
so how is the inside of th eproboats wired..
would i have to cut off the stock deans and re wire that also or just make a adaptor

Let me take shot at explaining the series/parallel thing. Forget connectors for just one moment and lets just talk wiring.
1. Parallel. Take the red wire from battery one and connect it to the red wire coming out of battery 2 and then connect that to the red wire going to the esc. Repeat the same thing for the black side. Now you have two batteries connected parallel. Same voltage, but twice the MAH's.

2. Series Now this looks weird, but I promise it will not blow up. Plug a red wire out of battery one, into the black wire of battery two. Now, take the red wire from battery one and hook it to the esc, and then take the black wire from the battery two to the esc. You have now doubled the voltage, but same MAH.

With bullet connectors, one connector per wire comming out of the battery, here is how I hook it up series.
1. Plug the red wire of battery one into the black wire of battery two.
2. Plug the red wire of battery two into the esc.
3. Plug the black wire of battery one into the esc.
4. Ready to go.

Might help you picture how it works better...
