I'm looking for a mini or micro hull that'll good fun and self righting, something that me and the boy's can run around without having to worry too much about having to have the paddle ski ready at all times for simple flip overs. I have a 1/16 erevo that I'm going to uprgading the motor and esc and I'll then have the stock electronics spare. The esc is a VXL3m- waterproof and the motor is a 380 4000kv. I have 2s 2200mah lipo's that I could run single or 2p. I don't care too much for speed on this little puppy, just need a home for these electronics. Please offer some suggestions on what might be good for us, thanks.

Mate there is a self righting mono just been put on ebay. It is about 550 long I think. Would suit your gear I think.

his the one you mean? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/fibreglass-radio-control-speed-boat-hull-racing-mono-/140586338856?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Radio_Controlled_V ehicles&hash=item20bb994a28
I'm not sure if that'd be a little bit big for the 380??

A hull between 500/600 mm would suit you ?
I would go for a self righting Hull, the one you show on e-bay link is a very fast hull (i own one with 2600 kv, 3s, 120A esc), it needs some minor adjustments to self right, and the add of turn fins to be perfect.
For me with a boat, the essential point is the esc and Lipo, cars and boats have nothing in common, you can burn a 30 A esc with a boat and you won't with your car, so be carefull with that, you will need fast discharge Lipo, 30C is good.

You may want something smaller, may be a 400 mm hull, it is just a little bit more difficult to assemble since you will need small components, micro servo (12gr)...ect...

I own 400 mm boats (very cheap) and some 600 mm, both are fun and not expensive, if you go with boats more than 22" (nearly 600mm) it is much more expensive.

The mono is very good, it is known in europe as the "Warrior" from Joysway. 2 version of this boat: one plastic and one fiberglass with brushless, the last one is amazing ;)

MHZ Gecko would be a good choice for that equipment.
