i got a question about the Proboat programming module option ...
They show we can put a hight voltage and Low voltage cut-off...
Do it really work?
At how much volt running 2s Paralel (4s total) will it cut off on Hight cut and Low cut mode?
Which one i need to put On ?
Will i need the lipo shield even if i enable the LiPo Cut-Off ?

Thanks for the help :smile:

In the event no one else has anything to add...

I tried both High and Low cutoffs and recall a very slight difference... It does cut off consistently, even though I usually now can tell when it is losing steam so I don't get to the point where it cuts out completely.

But what doesn't work that well is the hard/solf cutoff setting. It pretty much just cuts off. If you are within 50 feet or so, you can baby it back...bit by bit.

If you are looking for more definite numbers, sorry, it has been since last summer I ran the High cut off...

Is you concern that it just doesn't work?

Sean

PS: if you have any concerns about integrity, set it at High. Run her for 5 minutes or so and check. If voltage drops fast and the boat slows really quickly, STOP!!! and check battery voltage and equipment. (but the ProBoat stuff is pretty consistent in my experience)

Lipo = high cutoff
nimh = low cutoff
