This has got to be the coolest freight locomotive ever. Two of these are used to pull coal freight.

Right in the middle on top. The square hole (if you actually wanted to know) :unsure:

A very good friend of mine since high school is the designed of all of the electric motors used in EMD locomotives. Want to talk about some serious motors!!
Not to good for FE boats though. . . Heavy, slow RPMs, huge.
