I busted my stock prop on my Genesis this weekend and am looking around for a metal replacement.
I'd like to find a 42mm with 4mm shaft or I can shim up a 3/16 shaft.
The problem I am running into is everybody is out of stock!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Depends on what size & kv motor, & what size & type of ESC your supplier fitted to the hull. Different suppliers fit different combinations.
So, what do you have?

The motor was stock with the Genesis and the ESC is a 125A.
The prop that came with it was plastic or nylon, 40mm, 4mm shaft. I don't know what the stock pitch was though.
I heard clearly not to go to a 44mm as it will burn up the ESC, so I'm thinking a 42mm would be ok since I plan to eventually update the motor and esc.
What I am running into is it seems nobody has any metal props available right now (out of stock).
Also, I see there there are very few with a 4mm shaft option.
I read an article on on to shim a 3/16 prop to fit a 4mm shaft and I'm willing to go that route until I upgrade the drive cable.

Any suggestions?

You still didn't give us the specs on the motor. Just saying "the stock motor" means nothing, because as I said different suppliers fit different size & Kv rating motors.
Cheers.
Paul.
