Hey Guys,

Here we go. Time for the second SAW race of the year at Legg Lake in El Monte CA. The Date is August 6th and 7th from first light to dark.

Anyone is invited Nitro, Gas and Electric, so bring your fastest boats and set a new Straight-A-Way record! :)

Email Mark Grim with your entries, we would like to have a running order list set up before the event. So let us know which boats you are bringing!

If you would like BBQ lunch, please let us know when you email your entries so Kim can get an idea of how many will be attending and how much lunch to stuff all you guys with! :)

The lunch will be $10.00 a person you will not go home hungry as all you guys know if you have come to the previous SAW and 2 Lap events.

Please email Mark Grim: mgrim@mindspring.com

I'm feeling the love now!

P-limited is open, go set some targets for me in October. You should be able to set all 5 open records in 2 days: P-Limited hydro, sport hydro, mono, OPC and offshore.

When I spoke to Mark Grim a few months ago he said that the SAW events on the NAMBA site calendar were wrong, they are three day events, not two day events. Better get with Mark and clarify. I'll be there in October.

At the last event on Friday it was just Randy, Me, & the ducks. See you in October :thumbup1:

This coming weekend will just be a 2-day event. In October it will probably be a 3-day event. A lot of this depends on attentance and interest before the race. It's quite expensive to put on a SAW and with low attendance it does not make sense to have a 3-day event. Typically October is when we have the best air and water for records so we try and make it a 3-day event.

Hey guys the event was fun! Im glad i went instead of waiting til October. Busted three records one im REALLY proud of is my N-1 mono record I took back.

I appreciate those who have succeded in beating my little white boat. I was about to retire her but she proved to still wanna put out so she will be running another season of service. All those who challenged that boat really motivated me to re invent myself as an N-1 specialist..
