Speak with Bill Oxidean whose on this forum about the X Blaze, I believe he is racing the X Blaze & has very good things to say about them. Ripmax in the UK now has the X Blaze in stock but its the lower spec one with a smaller motor & esc, I believe they will also have the super version very soon. Its not recomended to run 6s on the super as the motor kv is to high & esc to low amp. Martin.

Ive seen different specs on the 700 super X Blaze, Some say 6s others ive seen said 4s. I think youll find their arnt many on this forum that would run or recomend using 6s on this size motor & on a 90amp esc.

is there any other rtr fibreglass 6s boats out there martin or is it traxxas only or is there one that can hit 50 mph range on 3s its just that i have many 3s for my zagi and didnt want to buy another load of lipo's.

Bill is NOT using the stock motor. He likes the hull but is running a different motor and probably esc. So if you could buy it without the motor and esc and use your own it might be OK.

I think it is the super version but i am not sure. As you can see from the video its FAST and even faster in a straight line so dare not try higher batteries.
Batteries i am using- 2 x 2S 7.4V lipo, 4000mah ,20 C
B4563 water cooling brushless motor
90A water cooling brushless ESCw/o BEC
CNC aluminum alloy rudder , trim tabs , knife and support

Actually in mine the batteries are on each side and not on the same side as shown in the links above . (maybe they improved on this )

I bought mine from a local RC shop here in Denmark

http://www.iccom.dk/rc-hobby/joysway/speed-baade.htm

But you can buy it from ebay US too

http://cgi.ebay.com/Joysway-X-Blaze-Super-700-Vee-BL-RTR-Boat-colors-Vary-/170664780433?pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item27bc69e291

and ebay UK

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/X-Blaze-EP-RTR-Brushless-RC-Boat-2-4GHz-RRP-227-99-/200631423906?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item2eb69093a2

Note that the one on ebay UK has a different ESC, prop and no trim tabs but all these can be upgraded at nominal costs. it does however come with a 2.4 ghz radio which mine did not have.
Maybe contact the seller and ask for the parts to be added for a small fee.

You have to be carefull what X Blaze were talking about as well as theirs another X Blaze boat that Banana Hobby sell that is a completely different boat as well & i believe thats not as good a boat. Martin.

Another boat i can recommend is the Dragon Sword, though its smaller, it is fiberglass as you require and the beauty about this fast boat is that capsizing is not a problem as it self-rights again.
I have just ordered one myself but it does not come with any radio.
