I'm thinking about my next build for winter I would like to do a larger Cat something over 40" but less then 50" that can handle
twin engines

I have a FC 32 and realy like the HPR style (but really don't want to go to the trouble of getting the thing sent here) not a fanof the Mean Machine style. BBY stuff looks like it's really nice quality but I already have a 32".

Is there any manufacturers in the states or some one like OSE that carries a Cat like I described the above ones thats really
good quality? I've Googled till my eyes burned the last few weeks!!!

You can take a look at MHZ.

Expresscraft has a line of large cats, most are larger than your desire. The Lightning is 47" and handles very well as an FE boat, but not everyone likes the way it looks.

You can take a look at MHZ. http://mhzusa.com/Cat_c26.htmMHz USA is no longer affiliated with MHz the German company. http://www.mhz-engines.com/ there's shipping is very quick even from overseas. Shirly at MHz is very helpful and her English is prolly better than mine. I also didn't have any issues getting my hpr from Hanspeter if you decide to go that route.

They are no longer a distributor for MHz.

Help me understand the web page is still up they are not in business? or they just don't handle MHZ? Does this mean I would be speaking to Shirly as you posted? Finally
just curious how you paid for it just Visa card and no issue even though there in Germany?

Appreciate the help.

Here's an excerpt from an email I received from Shirley:

Since we received many complaints about the poor service of MHZ USA wehad to cancel our contract with Mr. Loo Yap as our US branch manager. Therefore our branch at the US does not exist anymore. We know that Mr. Loo Yap hasnt closed his website yet but since he didnot received any delivery from us since last year, he wont be able todeliver any MHZ equipment (unless he had something left in stock)Therefore please feel free to order from us directly from now on.

They accept paypal or credit cards. If you go to the site I linked, and email them you will get Shirley. She's very helpful. Hope this helps. Not trying to be pushy, it's just that there have been some people that had issues with the USA distributor and was wanting to save you the hastle.

Thanks very much I found the USA button on the site and now I see all that you can order was confused at first looking at the German site. I appreciate your help in dodging that bullet. Thanks again!

The King Cat or the Flash Cat. I have an R42 that's gas and it's a great boat as well but I've never seen an electric version of the R42.

Hello Lockk,

well in todays world its not a big trouble to get a big cat hull shipped from europe to the USA, neither for MHZ nor for HPR (and both offer contact in english). Also for HPR payment via PayPal is possible and shipping is quite fast. The 47" sized cats like HPR06 or C5009 "Mystic-Style" are in stock with standard laminates, for special versions according to the customers wishes it may take two weeks for production.
So you'll find both here, satiesfied owners of MHZ C5000 Mystics as well as of HPR 06's and HPR C5009's - so when buying one of these its definitely not a mistake

For further questions you can also send me a PM.

Best regards,
Manuel

Thanks Manuel since it looks like I have no choice but to get them shipped and it sounds like they get to the USA without much trouble it's pretty much
just between the two either HPR or MHZ.

Thanks for your input.

Hi Lockk,

Don't know how easy to get Graupner kits are in the US. I have just obtained a PX-1 which is a basic, no hardware kit from them It is a 43" cat, very well moulded and not bad looking
