This is more a response to a question i missed.
This was from last year (tells you how well i scour my message folder) on the system from last year (Futaba, old news) not sure if any others use it. The tech question was about the Futaba S-Bus. Answer: Yes the technology was invented by General dynamic and Raytheon serial data bus, first used in the jets in Nam) and on the RS series serial data bus in the M1A2 and M1A2SEP from 02-to present day, This was one of the systems i helped test and instructed way back then. All the branches use pretty much the same serial data management systems with variations depending on app and purpose. Sorry if this way late. Nice to see that military tech filters its way to the civy world almost a decade later under the moniker S-bus.
