The great toys keep comming.! Brushless, 2.4ghz and uses a tiny battery. Is it fiberglass? Looks like it may be?

Plastic hull, too much to hope for. Still a cool looking little boat. At that size, glass may not make much sense anyway.

Looks GREAT for my wife. She JUST asked me about getting her something small and "girlish" to run. Of course, I want to be able to have fun with it too. This might be the ticket for me. I just hope it's not going to run 200 bucks.

EDIT: Found it on tower's site. 139.99. Not too shabby.

A few notes about the new Mini Mono.

First and foremost this BOAT IS FAST! It runs in the 20 MPH range and MORE with some tweaking.. What.. Not fast enough? Wait until you turn the wheel. This boat changes direction in a heart beat!

Its really fun to drive. It handles rough water quite well and the hatch easily tapes!

I have had the best luck with our 1000mah 25c XPD8 pack. Fits like a glove and really rockets the boat!

If the boat has any quirks its: If you have the steering rate to high the boat can stuff in the corner. It’s really quite comical to watch and as you know with just a counter clockwise tweak on the rate knob adjustable!

I bet Steven is going to be selling allot of upgrade props for this little rocket! Heads up! Keep the prop around 30mm dia!

Grim,

Thanks, I see it now. Looked for it before but I could'nt find it.

Seems to be priced well, I think I will grab one of these when they come available.

Grim,

I am still waiting on a Glass Rio F/E version. Hopefully AquaCraft will have one of these in the near future. Somewhere in the 29" to 32" would be killer!
