So I am running wide open and this kid tosses a stick right in front of the boat, looks @ me and smiles. My first thought was to pick up the little SOB and toss him out in the water. Not an option. The second thought wasd to go drop his old man in a heap...But no I just asked hin not to do that again while glaring and his looser old man. What happened was the stick caught the turn fin and pushed way back along with the rudder. I didn't catch it during the inspection. So next turn...over it went.
Enjoy the clip.

Punk kid is pretty harsh. ;) Though we feel the same way, we lovingly refer to them as "Mister misters". As in "mister mister, can I drive your boat?? LOL

In reference 6 to 9 year old yes. But a 13 or 14 year old kid should know better.

I'm with you on that one SJ, I'd be pissed too. I have three kids ages 6,9 and 12. They wouldn't dream of doing something like that. Sure like your retrieval boat!

You may want to upgrade the tug powertrain, its going to see lots of use recovering that boat when the pressures on.

Nice retrieval.

Judging by how far the boat is out there, he's got one hell of an arm! Maybe his dad should have put a baseball in the kids hand and played catch with him!

Yeah he wipped it pretty good. Pluss the 15 knot wind @ his back. Oh and the fact I had to run 75 feet to go get the tug.....lol I think the run pissed me off the most:D. I'm on vacation from the gym cause i'm sick of running...lol

I just recieve the aquacraft tug i bought off S/D. Unbelieveable... Its brand new. The wooden base corner is apart (epoxy and 1 miniute) there is a fake hoist broken off(I would have removed it anyway) there are these little plastic pieces that look like pins(Honesty dont know where they go but dont care its nothing) Lights work, changed the connector, a drop of oil on the motor, it purs like a kitten, its bran new! 249 new I got it after coupon and no shipping because I belong to the club I got it for less then 95 bucks. I am amazed... heheh only thing is radio is a #64 same as one of my boats.

I have to build the retrieval arms. Anyone got any plans or just wing it.

I just had a blast. Wasnt the blazing speed of the SV but the Aquacraft tug I got off S/D is a blast. Its a real tug for sure. I pulled my pond boat around the pond with my tug. Gonne set something up for recovery of the SV and I want to set something up like a raft and put one of my dogs on it to pull around... hehehe

Funny, I pulled it in and checked temps...heheh even after a half hour of constant pulling and non stop going it was not even warm and bone dry. All on one one Tenergy 3800 pack. So they are good for some thing just not the SV.

Yeah I run that garbage in my tug also. Seems the only good use for them.
