Hi,
How can i find the kv of a motor if unknown ?:glare:
Its orange colored and has 4 vents at each end, I think it a Turnigy motor 36MM/56mm/ / 5MM shaft. 2 pole.
It looks like one.
Thanks for any info.:beerchug:

If you have an Eagle Tree, you can hook it up, measure the max RPM and voltage, and do some division...

I think so, It looks just like them, But no tag is on it, I got it off of swap shop on hear, But no info on it.
Trying to use it for a 2s setup for my Rio ep to go brushless soon with low amps for esc.
It feels like two pole to me when i spin it.

there is a way to do it with a poer drill, or another motor with a set RPM, I forget how, it might be on the tips/tricks section of this site.

I saw in tips something about a using a drill with known rpm,
But unshore about how that works.

No i don't have a eagle tree yet.

you put the motor shaft in the drill and spin it at an rpm, use X. put a voltemeter on two of the wires, use the voltage you get as Y. then run them through this formula. (X/Y)/1.41
the answer you get will give you your motor KV

Just tried it, But volts are not stable on the meter.
600 rpm drill, DM-55 Greenlee multimeter.
