I upgraded to the fullers cat hardware, and I am having trouble with the flex shaft because it has a minutely smaller diameter and comes loose when the engine is at full throttle.

Is there something I can pull off the old stock parts for it to work, or any household items?

Also, posting a picture of my mods to the boat as well...

First off...your strut is on backwards. Nose cone should point towards the front of the boat. The strut should also be level with the bottom of the hull...which means sit your hull on a flat counter and adjust the strut down until it touches the counter as well and keep it flat for now...no angle.

Which cat hull is this?

What size shaft are you using....look at the pics on this thread http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/showthread.php?t=2139

It also looks as if the cable is too long. There should be some type of tubing covering the cable from the Stuffing tube to the strut. Is the cable greased?

The cable looks long, because it popped out of the motor mount, when its pushed back in it fits fine. Where do I get this tubing that covers the cable? I didn't have any extra parts that came with the hardware.

Also, the flex shaft is Hughey .125 flex cable with 3/16ths, was it supposed to be the .150 flex cable?

Yep. The Cable should be the .150 cable. The strut should be turned around.
You can use silicon tubing or oversized shrink wrap with the ends heated to form a tight grip. Paint job looks good. Is that an orange or off Pink?

Just ordered the correct size from Fuller's...

The paint is a candy red, but since it was inside and with my iphone, the picture didn't come out too well.
