Noticed this happening in both my BJ and MG. Usually when I power up my boats I can hear the beeping quite loud, but other times it is barely audible and quite muffled. Couple of runs later, it will return to normal....nothing wrong with either boat. What is the cause of this?

This "beeping" is actually NOT coming from the ESC... it is coming from the ESC triggering the motor. You will notice that it is louder when the motor is rotated into certain positions. The next time it's muffled, rotate the motor slightly, and you'll see a dramatic difference.
As long as it's arming correctly, it's not an issue. Just a result of the motor being slightly rotated away from phase at different times...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

Yeah, I put my ear down close and it is coming from the motor...did not realize that the prop/motor position would affect this,,thanks for the help!!!!
