Ok guys, I don't care what any nay sayers or disbelievers think, this thing is freakin' AWESOME.

A dream come true of mine since I started playing with cars and I intend to incorperate it to a boat

I can't live without one.

It'd make a right nice wheel stander motor for that Chavelle you've got on the rotisserie
She's a full roller standard bore 454 4-bolt with keith Black forged pistons

I hope they make the blowers for HPI vehicles sometime. Or maybe they're universal?

That's cool, Bill!!

I think it would make for a great cooler for an N-1 oval boat

Yeah it might "look" cool but you all do realize it's driven by a belt off of the motor shaft right? So how much power do you think turning that little gadget is going to cost you for a few degrees of temp change IF it even works?

I don't think it cost much drag at all to run the gizmo.
Not much more than a freshly greased cable, or a cable slightly out of line with the stuffer.

35degrees cooler gives a substantial performance gain on any motor.
I think its cool for the imagination factor alone, a little supercharger? I'm into it!

I fully agree :thumbup1:
that little blower is bad ass

If you could trim it or sand it properly it would be neat to put on an outrunner.
The only problem about it on a boat is that it would be pointing backwards, surgery would be needed to turn it around.

Lehner Motor Technik nowadays sells some of there motors with LK = Lüft Kühlung (=aircooling). This aircooling does not use any belt or does not take much space apart from 5mm extra length added to the canlength. If additional aircooling is necessary at all (besides watercooling in a boat) I would certainly prefer their solution.

I would think you would want it directed to the back on a boat.

Well, the holes are what bring the air in, if it was pointed backwards then you would not get much air.

Uhh.. For it to ingest cool air the intake would need to be outside the boat, I'd imagine. If it goes topsy-turvy it would pump in (or leak in) lots of H2O methinks. Very nicely engineered piece, otherwise.
