Got my batteries in finally, and now have a question. All my gear and other batteries are all converted to Dean's....will Dean's survive a 4082/180A/Turnigy/Prather 225 setup in my Spartan? For convenience sake I'd really like them all standardized, but if it's gonna cause my boat to turn into a fireball like the stock Spartan what's the point, lol...

Regardless of their rating, Deans are not appropriate for much more than 50 amps. Brand new they might handle up to 70 amps, but very soon the contacts corrode and resistance climbs. Go with a minimum of 5.5mm bullets, and polarize them so you don't hook them up backwards. I put the male on the battery positive and the female on the battery negative. That is usually the safest polarization.
