I just finished my mini v, but don't have any buddies with boats... Is there any where close to cypress where ppl meet up and race there boats?

The closest place is in Katy. We meet there usually twice a month and would welcome you if you can make it. We run a variety of boats, P Limited sport hydro, P Sport hydro, P mono, and others depending on who brings what. The next meeting is June 18th, 10AM until ? As that date gets closer, PM me if you can make it and I'll give you directions.

Sweet, Katy is kinda far but I can throw the boat in a back and hop on the bike...
