445 is a good start. I'm running a 645 with great results. No temp issues.

Dependes on the motor wind. That information is normally provided by maker and seller normally should provide that info. Here's a perfect example. For what I know the 4082 1500kv is "Y" wind, but the very similar 4082 1450kv is "D" wind. The Y wind at 15 should be happy and should run good at that timing, but run 15* on the "D" wind and you will have problems.

To answer your question 15 on that motor is fine.

(i run my leopard "y" winds on seakings a 15, but I run my d winds at 7.5 which I may actually lower a little).

Start with the X445. You may be able to use an X447/3, but check temps.
