After my recent flip/blow over I changed my set up......

1. 5s with 11.1v 40c 5000mah and 7.4v 40c 5000mah hard case lipos
2. Stock OEM Motor
3. Sea King 180a ESC ( settings 1-forward, 2- 5 cell, 3- 3.4v low voltage cutoff, 4- 11.25 timing )
4. 1600mah Receiver Pack (BEC removed)

5. Relocated Water Outlet

6. Kintec Offset Rudder Bracket

7. 4mm water line

8. M445 Prop

9. Trued Hull, Fiberglass Sheet reinforced Canopy, Front part of hull filled with spray foam.

10. Total Boat Weight as listed 6.0lbs

The boat performed great. It didnt show any signs of bouncing or wobble at speeds. It ran on the last 4in of the hull, with the nose about 1/2 in off the water. When taking off it planed out quickly and smoothly. Took the corners at close to top speed. The pull out of a tight turn was very strong. I am sure there is some more speed left at the price of a possible blow over but I am happy. It ran 47.2mph. The esc and motor was slightly warm to the touch. Going to run a 6s set up with the same specs as above in the morning. Weather/wind permitting.

Just got back from testing my 6s set up. Nothing was changed except setting the ESC for 6 cell. The speed increased to 54.7mph but run time dropped to about 2-5 minutes. If you hit the throttle from a stop or roll the front jumped out of the water.
IMO the best for speed and run time is a 4s or 5s. For all out speed "6s"
